Lots of information coming up with regards to some of the aromatic compounds exerting effects neither through supplementation nor diet. There seems to be a fair bit of them to induce anxiety[1], limonene seems to be able to in conjuction with another compound reduce anxiety[2] and chocamine was able to suppress appetite when smelt.

Definitely some potential manipulation lays here.
