Are probiotic supplements recommended for avoidant restrictive food intake disorder?

    Several studies have investigated the relationship between the gut microbiome and various eating disorders, particularly anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. However, there is currently no available evidence on the association between the gut microbiome and ARFID, nor on the potential benefit of using probiotic or prebiotic supplements as adjunct therapies for people with ARFID.[1]
