    Last Updated: October 25, 2023

One study reported that a 16-week physical activity program (including resistance training and high-intensity interval training) along with dietary therapy (education and practical skills related to nutrition and eating) improved bulimia symptoms as effectively as cognitive behavioral therapy.[1] Intranasal oxytocin has been studied in bulimia, but it had no effect.[2][3]
