Endometriosis is most commonly found in the pelvic cavity, with some of the most common sites being the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and pelvic lining, but while it’s rarer outside the pelvic cavity, endometriosis can occur anywhere in the body. It’s extremely rare, but endometriosis can even occur in other organs like the kidneys, eyes, liver, pancreas, intestines, and brain.[1]
