    Although psoriatic arthritis is only a mild disease in some people, in others, the disease course is more progressive and damaging, having a similar negative impact on joint function and quality of life as rheumatoid arthritis.[1] Even a 6–12 month delay in diagnosis can increase the possibility of long-term joint damage and disability.[2]
