Does a modified Atkins diet reduce psychogenic non-epileptic seizures?
In this 6-week randomized controlled pilot study in 17 participants with psychogenic nonepileptic seizures, a modified Atkins diet did not reduce psychogenic nonepileptic seizures compared to the control diet. However, the diet was well tolerated, and additional research is warranted.
