Thermogenesis

    Thermogenesis is the production of heat. In humans, muscle and certain fat cells are chiefly responsible for thermogenesis. Types of thermogenesis include exercise-associated (EAT), nonexercise activity (NEAT), and diet-induced (DIT), alongside shivering and nonshivering thermogenesis.
