Do oral probiotics prevent vulvovaginal infections during pregnancy?
In this randomized controlled trial in 100 pregnant women, oral probiotics (vs. a placebo) did not reduce the incidence of vulvovaginal infections (such as yeast infections) during pregnancy.
Probiotics may be beneficial in the treatment of gynecological infections
