Adults with overweight or obesity who took ActivAMP® (a supplement containing Gynostemma pentaphyllum extract) experienced greater improvements in body weight, BMI, and fat distribution around the hips and thighs compared to adults who took a placebo. Because these were secondary outcomes, the findings should be considered exploratory.
