The reported polyphenol content of tart cherry juice does not seem to influence its effects on exercise recovery,[1] endurance exercise performance,[2] or cardiometabolic risk factors.[3] Therefore, a higher polyphenol content does not seem to enhance the effects of tart cherry juice.
