Microangiopathy

Microangiopathy is a disease of the small blood vessels in the microcirculation and is sometimes referred to as small vessel disease (SVD). Microangiopathy is one of the main complications of diabetes mellitus and can lead to a lack of blood flow to organs and organ damage.
