Bio

Rachel is a registered nurse and certified breastfeeding specialist with a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in nutrition. Before working for Examine, Rachel was an emergency department nurse and also spent 5 years as a research associate for a contract research organization, where she managed phase IV research projects and manuscript publications. At Examine, Rachel writes and reviews site content and assists in project management tasks. She has a special interest in maternal and infant health. Outside of work, you will find her singing a Disney song to her sons, getting in some exercise, or reading a fun book!
