The role of exercise and nutrition in adults with liver cirrhosis and sarcopenia
In this meta-analysis of 7 randomized controlled trials in a total of 206 adults with cirrhosis and sarcopenia, exercise and/or nutritional interventions improved the skeletal muscle index (a marker of sarcopenia) and albumin levels (a marker of liver function).
