Does a higher dose of vitamin D improve pregnancy outcomes for women with overweight and obesity?
In this randomized controlled trial in pregnant women with overweight/obesity, a higher dose of supplemental vitamin D increased serum vitamin D levels, compared to a lower dose. However, the higher dose had no effect on blood lipid levels or pregnancy outcomes.
