Exercise — whether it’s aerobic exercise, high-intensity interval training, or resistance training — increases testosterone levels,[1] especially when it’s included as part of a lifestyle intervention to reduce body weight.[2] Exercise may also improve the effectiveness of TRT.[3] Bariatric surgery is another effective method for increasing testosterone levels in men with obesity.[4]
