In this randomized crossover study, the 22 participants consumed oatmeal and either sweetened almond milk or cow’s milk. Postprandial changes in blood sugar levels, free fatty acids, gastrointestinal hormones (including ghrelin and leptin), and triglycerides did not differ between the conditions.
