Yogurt and the hippocampus: How fermented food may change the brain
In this 8-week randomized controlled trial in 40 women (average age of 32), a fermented yogurt high in probiotics had beneficial effects on the structure and function of the left hippocampus, but these results should be considered preliminary.
Curcumin might improve clinical and biochemical outcomes in adults with type 2 diabetes and obesity
N-acetylcysteine might improve some metabolic biomarkers in adults with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
Pomegranate supplements might offer modest benefits for arthritis symptoms
Probiotics might modestly reduce biomarkers of inflammation and oxidative stress in coronary artery disease
